Client meeting to discuss the initial draft of the Schedule of Works in preparation for tender to three local builders. The scheme involves a contemporary single storey side extension and loft conversion to this lovely 3 bedroom detached house. We are tendering and project managing the build. We place high emphasis on a very detailed Schedule of Work document as this delivers accurate pricing from those tendering and avoids variations being charged during the build. This enables us to control the costs and project manage a smoother build process. We spend time with the client to recommend finishes, fittings and smaller details such as the type of skirting profile and internal door styles so all aspects of the scheme are chosen.
