Minniedale Projects have been instructed to lead the pre-construction work for a new build house in Dunsfold, Surrey for a self-build client. Set within acres of lovely countryside this 5 bed property with basement will be built into an existing hill and clad in stained black timber with an impressive CorTen steel front door. We are assisting the client with budget costs for the build in order for them to secure the financing, we will then write a detailed Schedule of Work pricing document and tender the scheme to individual trades/builders. They wanted confidence in receiving competitive pricing for the work from local builders in order to make an informed decision on who to instruct. They also wanted financial confidence before starting the build, knowing that all elements of the project had been allowed for and no assumptions had been made by those quoting. This reduces the opportunity for the builder to charge variations during the build.
